This is a two phase programme for intermediates which entails training 4x week. It utilises a split body approach. This works well as a progression from the 3 days a week 3 phase system. For the first phase, a 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off schedule works well. For second phase, a 1 on, 1 off, 1 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off schedule works well.
